THIS IS ACTUALLY I FIRST TIME SERIOUSLY MAKE MUSIC ON GARAGE BAND, AND I FIND THAT PROCESS IS REALLY INTERESTING. GENERALLY, I GET SOME INSPIRATION FROM THE RIVER BECAUSE I LIVE AT THE TREVER HALL, WHICH RIGHT BY THE RIVER, AND ONE DAY, I JUST SIT BY THE RIVER AND CREATE THIS ONE-MINUTE SOUNDSCAPE. I FIRSTLY CREATE A SET OF THE DRUMBEATS AND FEEL LIKE IT IS A LITTLE MONOTONOUS; AND THEN I ADD ON OTHER BEATS WITH THE LAUNCH PADS TO MAKE THE BEATS HAVE LAYERS. THEN I USE THE STRING INSTRUMENTS MAINLY CELLO TO BE THE MAIN RHYTHM. AFTER THAT, I FEEL LIKE I NEED TO PUT SOME BASS ELEMENT TO ENRICH THE SOUND VARIETY OF MY SOUNDSCAPE. AFTER I FINISHED THAT AND LISTEN TO THE WHOLE THING, I FEEL LIKE I NEED TO CHANGE SOME PARTS OF THE LAUNCH PADS, AND I ADJUST IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN UNTIL I SATISFIED. I ENJOY THE PROCESS OF MAKING EACH PART WORKS TOGETHER VERY MUCH, I HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY MY SOUNDSCAPE.

HIS DEAFNESS, HOWEVER, FORCED HIM TO RELY ON HIS OTHER SENSES, PARTICULARLY HIS SENSE OF TOUCH AND VIBRATION, TO CREATE HIS MUSIC. HE WOULD OFTEN PLACE HIS HANDS ON THE PIANO OR ON THE WALLS OF HIS ROOM TO FEEL THE VIBRATIONS OF THE SOUND HE WAS CREATING. THIS ALLOWED HIM TO CREATE MUSIC THAT WAS NOT JUST AUDITORY, BUT THAT WAS ALSO TACTILE AND PHYSICAL. AS FOR MY PROJECT, I SHARED MY PERSPECTIVE TO ENJOY THE BEAUTY IN OUR LIFE. IT COULD BE USED AS A TOOL HELP AUDIENCE FIND THE BEAUTY IN THEIR LIFE.
